Congressional Democrats Disclose Most Recent Batch of Epstein Photos as Justice Department Deadline Nears
Oversight Panel
The Congressional oversight panel has released a batch of roughly 70 photos secured from the holdings of former convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.
This marks the third such disclosure from a tranche of more than 95,000 photographs the body has secured from Epstein's property. It contains pictures of excerpts from the book Lolita written across a woman's body, and redacted images of women's overseas passports.
This release arrives mere hours before the 19 December deadline for the DOJ to disclose every documents associated with its investigation into Epstein.
"These new images raise additional questions about exactly what the Justice Department has in its possession," stated the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.
What is in the Images Made Public
Several of the photos released on recently depict Epstein conversing with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky on a personal aircraft; Bill Gates positioned next to a woman whose features is obscured; Steve Bannon sitting at a table across from Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.
Committee
These are the latest affluent, prominent figures to be photographed in Epstein property photographs released by the committee - earlier disclosed photos also show US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, ex- US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.
Being pictured in the images is not evidence of any illegal activity, and several of the featured figures have said they were in no way involved in Epstein's illegal activity.
In a announcement issued alongside the image publication, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate did not provide explanatory details or timings for the pictures.
"Photos were chosen to offer the public with clarity into a illustrative selection of the photos received from the property, and to offer perspectives into Epstein's network and his profoundly alarming behavior," the statement reads.

The publication also features multiple photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita penned in dark ink across various areas of a woman's body, such as her upper body, lower extremity, hipbone, and rear. Lolita recounts the tale of a adolescent who was groomed by a middle-aged literature professor.
A particular excerpt from the novel scrawled across a woman's torso reads, "Lolita: the point of the tongue traveling of three steps down the roof of the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".
Additionally, there are a number of photos of women's travel documents and official papers from states globally, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.
Oversight Panel
The majority of the information on the documents, including names and dates of birth, is obscured but the panel indicated in a press release that the passports are associated with "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were involved with".
Another image features Epstein seated at a workstation intimately surrounded by three women whose faces have been obscured - a first has her hand on Epstein's torso under his shirt, and another is crouching to examine a adjacent laptop. Epstein can be seen to be aiding the third put on a bracelet.

Another photo disclosed is a image of digital messages from an unknown individual who claims they have been sent "a number of girls" and are asking for "$one thousand dollars for each individual".
Photo Disclosure Arrives Prior to DOJ Due Date
The panel has a vast number of images in its holdings from the Epstein property, which are "both graphic and mundane," its press release on Thursday clarified.
The oversight panel first issued a subpoena to the property of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while awaiting trial on accusations of sex trafficking crimes, in August.
The images and files the Epstein property provided to the body are separate from what is often referred to "Epstein-related records". Those files are papers in the justice department's custody related to its separate investigation into Epstein.
Pursuant to the recently passed law, which Donald Trump made law recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its records. The scope of what is included in the DOJ's documents is unknown, and it's expected that a large amount of the material will be heavily censored, similar to Congressional releases
